July 2008–DeeAnna, Carol, and Aimee attended Millennium User Group Conference, a 3 day class to improve our guest relations and advance our computer skills. April 2008–Our esthetician team took a 3 day class on the various facials that we offer in our salon including advanced techniques on the new Green Science facial and Perfecting Plant Peel! Matt Slater, a top Aveda educator, taught the 2008 Aveda color collection in an exciting 2 day course. March 2008–Jessica and DeeAnna attended Spa Congress. A 2 day conference that centered around new spa treatments and ways to improve our spa. January 2008–Our management team attended The Salon Association, and intense 3 day management class to better the skills of our management team. November 2007–Jayme, one of our massage therapists, traveled to Thailand to complete her second Thai Massage training. May 2007-Amber was so excited to be selected as one of the few people in a 7 state area to go to New York Aveda Academy to learn advanced cut and color techniques from some of Aveda’s top educators! January 2007-We have an upcoming computer class to help us better serve our guests. October 2006-Jessica Lee, an editorial stylist taught advanced styling techniques so that our stylist could pass this knowledge on to our guests as well as editorial work. September 2006-Brianna St. Lawrence-Brody took a 5 day intensive makeup class. September 2006-“Seriously Dangerous” a truly inspired event took place this weekend up in the Flathead area. We took our entire team for a 3 day team building event. We covered every topic imaginable and came away with a true sense of direction and enthusiasm. August 2006-David Adams – Aveda’s global color director and color artist to the stars came into our salon and gave an intense class on this falls latest color techniques. David shared with us great ideas in color placement, theory, and better guest service with color. It was an honor to have him in our salon and we were incredibly inspired by his knowledge. August 2006-Aveda Master Jams-Some of out top stylist went to Denver to get inspired by learning the latest fall trends, including cuts, color, and makeup. July 2006- Melyssa Molen took and intensive extension class in Las Vegas and became a certified Hairlocs consultant. July 2006-A group of team members attended a truly inspiring red carpet event “Salon Life ‘06”. We got to learn from some of our industries greatest leaders. July 2006-We attended NAHA “North America Hair awards” which was a truly inspiring event red carpet event. June 2006-Jessica Lee Cutting class–a one day cutting class that specialized in naturally curly hair. We learned new texturizing techniques, long hair layering, and styling tips. May 2006-Hair revitalizing conditioning class. May 2006-Some of our newer talent took a 3 day cutting class in Denver to upgrade their cutting and styling skills. April 2006-2 day skin and body class February 2006-1 day Hair care class March 2006-Jayme Watson spent 4 weeks in Thailand learning how to perform Thai massage and reflexology. January 2006-Jessica Klein attended a Tourmaline resurfacing treatment. Avedas’s answer to microdermabrasion. Fall 2005-Angela Smith attended a 3 day advanced massage class.
